Review all factory calenders globally, assign the appropriate calendars to Plants and Shipping Points.

Functional Requirement

Create new factory calendar for NE Miami.
Review all plants, shipping points and their factory calendars.
Update US calendars with day after thanksgiving holiday for year 2013.

It was later on decided to create a New Calendar for DR and keep the same for Miami.

Assignments of Calendars to Plants, Shipping Point and Sales Org are sent in a File Uploaded:

Solution Summary

Solution involves creating/changing the Factory calendar as per the Requirement and assign appropriate calendar to Plants and Shipping Points.
Menu path: SPRO --> SAP NetWeaver --> General Settings --> Maintain Calendar

Calendars:

DR Calendar: Z0 : "Blue Label Factory Calendar"

There is no specific calendar for DR, Z8 was assigned for both Miami and DR.
New calendar Z0 "Blue Label Factory Calendar" is created for DR.
The new Holidays need to be added in new factory calendar Z0.

1. Three Kings day 01/09/2013 has to be removed,in Z8.
2. Duarte Day 01/30/2013 has to be removed,in Z8.
3. International Labor Day in Z8 calendar it is 04/30/2013 and in Excel file is 04/29/2013 (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign)
4. 27th week plant shut down. "DR Shutdown # 1 Day 1" (Create Holidays and assign)
5. Add Resttoration day 08/16/2013 (Create Holidays and assign)
6. Add virgin of Mercedes day 09/24/2013.(Create Holidays and assign)
7. Constitution of republic in in Z8 Calendar it is 11/05/2013 Excel file is 11/04/2013 (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign)
8. 52nd and 53rd weeks are to be kept as shutdown. (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign)

Miami Calendar : Z8 Naming change "5th & Ocean Miami Factory calendar"

1. New Years Holiday 01/01/2013.
2. Good Friday 03/29/2013.
3. Memorial Day 05/27/2013
4. 4th of July 07/04/2013.
5. Labour Day 09/02/2013.
6. Thanksgiving Holiday 11/28/2013.
7. Christmas day 12/25/2013

Canada Calendar CA Plants 0210, 8020, 9020

1. Civic Holiday 08/05/2013 need to be added in CA. (Create Holidays and assign)
2. Remembrance day 11/11/2013 need to be removed from CA.
3. Boxing Day 12/26/2013 needs to be added.

Derby Calendar : Z1

1. Plant Shutdown for week 31, make 07/29/2013 as Derby Plant shutdown # Day 1
07/30/2013 as Derby Plant shutdown # Day 2 and so on till 08/02/2013 as Day 5, (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign).
2. Thanks giving Friday 11/22/2013 is to be removed from Z1, 28th and 29th has to be given as Thanks Giving Holidays,(need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign).
3. Derby Shut Down should be 49th week, which is 48th week now (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign).
4. Corporate Holidays 26th, 27th & 30th need to be added (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign).
5. 31st is unpaid holiday.

Harrisburg Calendar : Z5

1. Thanks giving Friday has to be updated with appropriate date in Harrisburg Plants as well (need to remove the allocation, change the dates and reassign).

Assign the Calendars according to the Excel File.

Issues

Z8 was the calendar assigned to both MIAMI and DR, It was decided to create a New Calendar for MIAMI as most of the holidays in Z8 was similar to DR Calendar. Later it was Decided to create a New Calendar for DR not for MIAMI. Z8 calendar must be used for MIAMI.
